Hard core Mizzou fans all across the state have long held a grudge against the Post-Dispatch for their perceived slanted coverage towards the university.


Whether it be running with controversial Quin Snyder stories a few years back or simply not granting the Tigers the top headline on the Sports page after a big win, MU fans always seem to find something about the P-D that upsets them.

Now with the their first national championship game appearance just one win away and the Post running 4-5 Tiger related stories a day with top billing, it is beginning to look like the rift between Mizzou fans and St. Louis' flagship paper may finally start to fade away.

And then they go and do stuff like this. If I'm Mizzou beat writer Graham Watson and I've put in tireless hours in an attempt to make my paper a respectable outlet for MU news, I'm seeking out the author of this caption and I'm slapping them.

Take special note of the name of Mizzou's Heisman hopeful QB:
