Hello there. As you know, this week, the St. Louis Sports Magazine sports blog has slacked and subsequently faded in the fervor of holiday cheer (and vast amounts of eating). On behalf of all of those men and women affected -- some of whom include Joshua Bacott, Matthew Sebek, Patrick Imig, David Greene and the Cat Downstairs -- we're sorry. We're sorry we became all that it is which we mock. Just like Andres Gallaraga in 1992, we want to be lazy and kind of, you know, hang out.
But newsflash: IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. For we, each and everyone of us, are St. Louis Sports Magazine family!
NOW LET'S GO GET 'EM!!!

Darren McFadden's status is up in the air for Monday morning, as he has a sexy car he's been driving around. Like Randy Moss' pot, I'm sure it's just a friend's. [KTHV Little Rock]
The staff at Ramblings has the difficult job of documenting things to look forward toin the 2008 St. Louis Rams season. Sadly, the SmashBand World Tour didn't receive mention. [Ramblings]
Which free agent would you like to see the Rams pursue? It sorta kinda scares me that the majority of Rams fans didn't select that defensive tackle in Tennessee. [ClanRam Forums]
Cornerbacks Fahkir Brown and Tye Hill have earned surprisingly high marks this year, according to the Football Outsiders - it's just those darn safeties (AND THEIR PESKY DOGS!) who can't cover worth a lick. [TurfShow Times]
Cardinals front office = Liars. Really?
Tally the comings and goings of the Redbirds this offseason and, when compiled in list form, yeah, it's not pretty at all. [Cardinals Diaspora]
Although, to be fair, the Cardinals did "attempt to offer" Mark Prior a healthy deal before he signed on with San Diego. [San Diego Union-Tribune]
With no David Eckstein in St. Louis, the Astros are the scrappiest team in the Central Division thanks to this. [SI.com]
Mark it down. Put it in the books: the Tigers will be a 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament in March. At least, that's what Joe Lunardi says -- that means everything. [ESPN.com]
The Tigers' director of athletics, Mike Alden, has made a swift turn-around from the period when Ricky Clemons was 4-wheeling and Coach Snyder was, well, we don't really know what Coach was doing. [Columbia Tribune]
