Sometimes unforeseen stories in the realm of athletics occur in the midst of an utter boring sports season...and it makes everyone smile - at least for awhile - because, for better or for worse, it gives us something to talk about for the next few days.

Namely, setting a modern Division I record for fewest points in a game, falling 49-20 to George Washington in the Atlantic 10 opener.
